We are very excited to update our signs and focus on our Dorval Estate Winery branding. We removed the mascot cows as we were replacing signs and had no intention of putting them back. We got a call from a neighbor asking if we could put the cows back up. Our neighbor has a young child who truly enjoys driving by our cows each day. Can we put the cows back up? WE SURE CAN!! Happy to know it’s the little things that can bring unexpected smiles. The cows are here to stay! Cheers!

Our Story

A new generation of winemakers putting the Fresno, CA wine scene on the map.

Step into the captivating world where tradition meets innovation at DORVAL Estate Winery. From our verdant vineyards to the meticulously crafted bottles, every step of our winemaking process is infused with a passion that transcends time. Handpicked at the pinnacle of ripeness, each grape retains its essence, ensuring that our wines boast flavors as rich and vibrant as the land from which they spring.

As DORVAL ascends towards global recognition for its exceptional wine quality, we embark on a journey to cultivate our own land across three distinct ranch sites, encompassing a sprawling 227 acres of rugged Sierra Nevada Foothill terrain.

Meanwhile, the city of Fresno, CA, eagerly awaits an unparalleled experience with our esteemed winemaker, Bradley Smith, a native son who honed his craft amidst the storied vineyards of Napa Valley. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Viticulture and Enology earned in 1999, Bradley has spent the past 22 years meticulously crafting exquisite wines for renowned establishments such as Silenus Vintners, August Briggs, and Laird Family Estate.

Bradley’s unwavering dedication and unparalleled expertise have earned him widespread acclaim, including an extraordinary 97-point rating for Silenus Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. His mastery was further celebrated with the title of “Best Red Bordeaux” at the prestigious Decanter Asia Wine Awards in 2012.

Our cherished DORVAL Vineyard Ranches sprawl across 227 acres of rolling hills, reaching a pinnacle elevation of 1,400 feet and benefiting from the invigorating breezes of the Sierra Nevada Mono Wind canyon. DORVAL is not just a winery but a testament to the pioneering spirit, proudly owned and operated by true visionaries, Andrew and Rebecca Kerr.

Our Story Signature

DORVAL Vineyard Ranches

Our founder and owner, Andrew Kerr, is meticulously crafting 227 acres of San Joaquin Valley (AVA) foothill land nestled between Fresno, CA, and Yosemite. His profound admiration and commitment to organic vineyards shine through in every grapevine and each bottle of our estate-grown wines. Andrew’s dedication extends to ethical farming practices that not only benefit consumers but also contribute positively to our global community.

Driven by a profound belief in regenerative organic farming, Andrew’s vision permeates every facet of our mission to produce exceptional wines. As we embrace the spring of 2024, Andrew is set to plant 8 acres of select varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon clones 169 and 30, Petit Verdot, Syrah 470, and Cabernet Franc.
