Dorval Reserve Blend
"Mélange de Terrain"
Meet none other than our flagship Dorval Reserve Wine Blend, Mélange de Terrain. "The Field Blend" in French. This magical field blend is planted in a 3-acre block on our winery estate along highway 41. Oriented northeast-southwest to achieve balanced acidity and sugar. Dorval's Mélange de Terrain is a blend of five different Cabernet Sauvignon clone types, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Sirah, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. We will be releasing this proprietary blend in 2027.

Cabernet Sauvignon Clones 169, 337, 7, 4, 30
These very specific clones of Cabernet Sauvignon were planted to perfectly match our granite and clay soils. By combining them into one blend we achieve the perfect balance of elegance, structure, color and complexity.
Tempranillo Clone 2
Tempranillo 2 is our Spanish varietal planted in 2025. This varietal makes powerful red wines. Considered the Cabernet of Spain our Tempranillo is sure to impress sitting atop our granite soils giving it the power punch of minerality and complexity. We expect 6 barrels of Tempranillo starting in 2027.

Petit Verdot - Clone 2
In the fall of 2024 we planted 2 acres of Petit Verdot. Petit Verdot is a dark Bordeaux varietal from France. Production of this crop will likely begin in 2026 and we estimate making 15 barrels /4,500 bottles.
Cabernet Franc - Clones 214 and 327
Located at two sites clones 214 and clones 327 are the pinnacle of Cabernet Franc. At 600ft elevation and 1,100 feet elevation these vines are positioned perfectly for the finest wine production. Cabernet Franc is a delicious Bordeaux varietal that pairs well with almost any food and occasion. Production of this crop will likely begin in 2026 and we estimate 4-6 barrels / 1,500 bottles.

Petit Sirah
Petit Sirah is one of our flagship wines. Our Petit Sirah vineyard was planted in 2007 and today produces exceptionally elegant red wine.

Syrah
Our Syrah is grown along the banks of the San Joaquin River, where warm days, cool evenings, and river-kissed breezes create ideal conditions for depth and elegance. The vineyard’s mineral-rich soils and natural airflow produce a Syrah that’s bold yet refined—layered with dark fruit, cracked pepper, and a whisper of wild herbs. A true expression of California terroir, shaped by the river’s timeless rhythm.
Charbono
This rare wine originates from France. Today there is less than 70 acres planted in the united states and we are proud to produce 1 acre of Charbono annually for our members.
